The CEFR includes descriptive can-do statements, called “descriptors,” that exemplify what a foreign language learner can do at each proficiency level. At the Basic level, learners can the CEFR in 2001. As a result the working group for mediation descriptors have, since January 2014, been refining a collection of descriptors from a range of sources.
